MAPS & AIRSPACE

Different boundaries. One geographic view.

View map drawings, mission areas and airspace boundaries together in 2D and 3D. Inspect their details alongside the surrounding terrain.

Use points, lines and shapes to mark locations and describe geographic boundaries.

Distinguish areas included in or excluded from a mission. A mission exclusion area is not automatically a no-fly zone.

View airspace boundaries and their configured lower and upper limits alongside the terrain.

SHARED GEOGRAPHIC CONTEXT

Create a drawing in VECTOR or receive published geometry from a service. Connected operators can inspect the same object in their own map view.

The Geometry service publishes configured geographic objects into the workspace. Inspect them alongside local drawings, mission areas and airspace.

Mesh carries supported object updates over DDS to connected workstations. Each operator keeps an independent camera, map source and layer selection.

Local, shared and received objects remain distinguishable. Newly shared airspace is read-only to other operators until its owner allows editing.

HOW IT CONNECTS

Prepared local maps support disconnected viewing. Sharing live updates requires connected participants on the configured DDS domain.
